태왕 사옥전경.[태왕 제공] [헤럴드경제(대구)=김병진 기자]올해 대구지역 건설사들의 시공 능력 순위가 대부분 하락한 가운데 유일하게 (주)태왕이 5단계 상승한 것으로 나타났다.1일 국토교통부가 발표한 2023년도 건설업체 시공 능력 평가 결과에 따르면 대구지역 건설업체 순위는 화성산업(주)이 전년보다 1계단 하락한 43위를, 서한(주) 48위(1계단 하락), (주)우방 58위(15계단 하락), (주)화성개발 112위(12계단 하락) 하락한 반면 태왕은 전년(72위)보다 5단계나 상승한 67위를 기록했다.태왕의 시공 능력 평가 상승세는 부동산경기 침체로 몸살을 앓고 있는 지역에서는 이례적인 일이란 분석이다.그만큼 주거 부문과 비주거 부문에서의 일감 확보는 물론 안정적인 경영환경의 확보로 탄탄한 실적이 뒷받침되고 있다는 결과라는 분석이다.국토부의 시공 능력 평가는 발주자가 적정한 건설업체를 선정할 수 있도록 건설 공사실적·경영상태·기술 능력 및 신인도를 종합 평가하는 제도로 올해 시공 능력 평가를 신청한 건설업체는 전국에서 7만 7675개 사로 전체 건설업체 8만 9877개 사의 86.4%에 달한다.이 평가 결과는 1일부터 적용되며 공사발주 시 입찰 자격 제한, 시공사 선정, 신용평가, 보증심사 등에 활용된다.한편 지역 건설사 시송 평가 결과, 화성산업은 작년(1조167억6400만원) 보다 442억 400만원이 하락한 9천725억6000만원을, 서한은 878억5800만원 하락한 8474억2500만원을, 우방은 1865억2600만원이 줄어든 4156억1800만원, 화성개발은 507억8800만원이 감소한 2507억2300만원으로 집계됐다.지역에서 유일하게 5단계나 상승한 태왕은 작년보다 1천177억6500만원이 늘어난 5314억7천700만원을 기록했다. 노기원 ㈜태왕 회장은 "지난해부터 ㈜태왕은 대구지역 부동산경기가 과열양상을 보이면서 주택부문 사업 확장에 숨고르기에 들어간 경영전략이 주효한 것"이라며 "태왕은 일찍부터 비주거부문의 안정적인 일감 확보로 이번 시공능력평가에서 큰 마이너스는 없어서 좋은 결과로 이어진 것으로 보인다"고 말했다.
