올 상반기 우리나라를 거쳐간 항공교통량이 지난해에 비해 31%이상 증가한 것으로 나타났습니다. 국제선 항공교통량 증가율이 70%를 웃돌면서, 코로나19 이전 수준까지 상당 부분 회복됐다는 긍정적 전망을 내놓고 있습니다.특히 일본과 동남아 등 제주 남단을 '스쳐' 지나간 국제선들의 왕래가 분주했습니다. 해외여행에 나선 수요와 방한 관광객 증가세가 가져온 여파가 큰 것으로 풀이됩니다.상대적으로 종전 국내 관광객들로 분주했던 제주공항의 부진이 두드러집니다. 항공교통량이 줄면서 극심한 타격 양상을 드러냈습니다. 국제선 회복 속도는 더디기만 한데다, 국내선 인프라 역시 부족한게 한계로 꼽히고 있습니다.■ 상반기 항공교통량 2019년 수준 근접오늘(1일) 국토교통부에 따르면 올해 상반기 한국 공항에 이착륙하거나 한국 하늘을 통과한 항공기는 모두 35만 1,412대로 집계됐습니다. 하루 평균 1,941대, 거의 2,000대 육박하는 항공기가 우리나라 하늘길을 이용했습니다.올 상반기 국제선은 월평균 5.2%씩 증가했습니다. 국내선을 포함한 전체 교통량은 월평균 약 4.1%씩 상승해 2022년 월평균 증가 추이(1.6%)를 크게 웃돌았습니다.국내선 교통량은 11만 7,692대로, 전년보다 10% 감소한 반면 국제선 교통량은 23만 3,720대로 전년 동기 대비 70.5% 증가한 것으로 나타났습니다. 특히 지난 4월 기점으로 하루 평균 2,000대를 넘어 항공교통량이 상당량 회복세를 보였습니다. 일본과 동남아 지역 중심의 신규 취항·증편 등에 따라 국제선이 전년 대비 70% 이상 크게 늘었습니다. 해외여행이 늘어 전체 교통량 증가를 견인한 것으로 풀이됩니다.상대적으로 팬데믹 시기 해외여행 단절로 국내 항공교통에 몰렸던 수요는 일평균 650대로 전년 대비 10% 줄었습니다.
