삼성액티브자산운용은 오늘(3일) 액티브 ETF 브랜드 'KoAct'를 출시했다고 밝혔습니다.KoAct는 'Korea Active ETF'를 축약했는데, 대한민국 대표 액티브 ETF 브랜드로 성장하겠다는 의미를 담았다는 설명입니다.민수아 삼성액티브자산운용 대표는 "삼성액티브자산운용은 KoAct ETF 출시를 계기로 더욱 치열하게 고민하고 적극적인 투자를 실행해 고객들의 자산이 세상의 변화와 함께 성장하는데 일조해 나갈 것"이라면서 "이러한 과정을 통해 국내 액티브 ETF 시장이 글로벌 수준으로 성장하는데 앞장설 것"이라고 말했습니다. 

첫 액티브 ETF 상품은 'KoAct 바이오헬스케어 액티브'입니다. 국내 최초의 바이오헬스케이 액티브 ETF로, 인공지능(AI) 시대 기술융합을 통해 고성장이 기대되는 바이오헬스케어 기업에 선별적으로 투자합니다. 이 상품은 iSelect 바이오헬스케어 PR지수를 기반으로 삼성액티브자산운용의 리서치가 엄선한 종목들로 포트폴리오를 구성할 예정입니다. 출시 시점 기준 유한양행(8.36%), 삼성바이오로직스(8.01%), SK바이오팜(6.65%), 셀트리온헬스케어(6%) 등 바이오와 헬스케어 섹터 대표 종목을 담고 있습니다.첫 상품으로 바이오헬스케어 액티브 ETF를 출시하는 이유는 바이오와 헬스케어 섹터의 높은 성장성 때문입니다. 2023년 글로벌 헬스케어 시장은 약 2천370조 원 규모로 급속히 설장 중이며 차세대 기술을 적용한 항암제, 알츠하이머 및 비만 치료제, 미용 의료기기 등이 전도 유망한 분야로 주목되고 있는데, 국내 기업들은 AI 및 디지털과 융합된 바이오헬스케어 산업에서 글로벌 경쟁력을 갖고 있다고 판단했다는 설명입니다.서범진 삼성액티브자산운용 전략솔루션총괄은 "고령화 사회 진입에 따른 헬스케어 산업 성장의 수혜와 더불어 고점에 다다른 금리 상황, 유동성이 증가하는 국면에서 코로나19 이후 침체돼 있던 바이오헬스케어 업황이 개선될 것으로 예상한다"라면서 "KoAct 바이오헬스케어 액티브 ETF는 글로벌 경쟁력을 가진 국내 바이오헬스케어 기업을 선별하여 투자하는 ETF로 투자자들이 분산투자 목적으로 선택하는 것을 추천한다"라고 전했습니다.
