1분기 약정액 5.2조 기록전 분기 대비 4배…전년 동기 比 30%↑스틱·스카이레이크·UCK, 펀딩 '순항'대내외 불확실성에 주로 대형사로 몰려이 기사는 2023년08월04일 17시57분에 마켓인 프리미엄 콘텐츠로 선공개 되었습니다.[이데일리 김근우 기자] 올 1분기 기관전용 사모펀드(PEF) 약정액이 전 분기 대비 4배 가까이 늘어난 것으로 나타났다. 전년 동기와 비교해도 30% 가량 많은 금액이 약정돼 금리 인상으로 위축된 PEF 자금 모집이 회복세를 보이는 것으로 풀이된다.1분기 기준으로는 스틱인베스트먼트(026890)와 스카이레이크에쿼티파트너스, UCK(유니슨캐피탈코리아)파트너스 등이 높은 약정액을 기록하며 두각을 나타냈다. 전년 동기와 비교해 결성된 펀드 개수는 줄었으나 모집액은 증가하면서 대형사로의 자금 쏠림 현상이 지속되고 있다는 분석도 나온다.펀드 결성 숫자 줄었지만 모집액 늘어금융감독원이 최근 발표한 ‘2023년 3월말 기준 기관전용 사모집합투자기구 현황’에 따르면 올 1분기말 기준 PEF 출자 약정액은 5조1629억원을 기록했다. 신규 약정 금액이 1조4000억원 수준이었던 지난해 4분기 대비 약 4배에 가까운 규모다.3조9000억원 수준의 신규 자금모집액을 기록한 전년 동기(2022년 1분기)와 비교해도 약 30% 가량 불어난 규모다. 글로벌 금리 인상이 본격화되기 이전인 2021년 1분기(4조332억원)와 견주어도 1조원 이상 늘어난 규모다.주목할 만한 점은 올 1분기 결성된 PEF는 36개로, 전년 동기 49개에 비해 펀드 개수가 줄었으나 약정액 자체는 증가했다는 사실이다. 일각에서는 대내외 불확실성이 커진 상황에서 자금 출자가 대형사로 쏠리기 때문이라는 분석도 나온다. IB(투자은행) 업계 관계자는 “출자자 입장에서는 보다 안정적이라고 판단되는 대형 펀드에 자금을 내주는 현상이 있는 것 같다”고 밝혔다.

스틱·스카이레이크·UCK 펀드레이징 ‘활발’출자약정액이 가장 많았던 펀드는 스틱인베스트먼트의 ‘스틱오퍼튜니티3호펀드’로, 1조2800억원으로 집계됐다.
