[앵커]아직 유동적이긴 해도 태풍 대비를 하셔야할텐데요, 이 태풍이 오기 전까지는 폭염이 계속됩니다. 오늘로 13일째 폭염특보가 이어지고 있고 내일은 전력 수요가 최고치에 다다를 것으로 보입니다. 더울 수록 자영업자들은 껑충 뛴 전기 요금에 한숨이 깊어지고 있습니다. 장혁수 기자가 보도합니다.[리포트]연일 계속되는 폭염에 냉방기기를 계속 틀어야 하는 자영업자들. 올여름 받아들게 될 전기요금 고지서가 벌써부터 근심입니다.민상헌 / 음식점 업주"할증이 비싸잖아요. (인상 폭이) 십몇 만 원 더 될 걸요? 요새는 시원하지 않으면 손님이 들어오질 않아요." 올해 초부터 오름세인 전기요금은 한여름이 되면 큰 부담이 될 것으로 우려돼 왔습니다.김난순 / 음식점 업주 (지난 3월) "요즘 장사도 안 되는데 그런게 올라버리면 지출이 많아지면 힘들죠."한국전력에 따르면 올 여름 지난해와 같은 수준으로 전력을 사용한 소상공인의 평균 전기요금은 34만 8040원입니다. 지난해 같은 달에 비해 5만 1400원 더 늘어난 금액입니다. 내일부터 이틀간은 전력수요가 92.9GW로, 올해 최대치에 달할 것으로 전망되는 상황. 다행히 전력 공급 능력이 103.5GW 수준으로 예비력이 10GW를 넘기 때문에 전력 수급 상황엔 문제가 없을 것으로 보입니다.손양훈 / 인천대 경제학과 교수"원전도 이제 많이 회복을 했고요. 석탄도 아직 있고, 태양광이 해가 지는 순간에도 아마 막을 수(감당할 수) 있다고 보는 것 같습니다." 요금 인상에 역대급 폭염까지 겹치면서 전기요금 부담을 걱정하는 소상공인들의 시름이 깊어지고 있습니다.
