경기 수원시의 한 은행에 주택담보대출 관련 현수막이 걸려 있다. 2023.7.18/뉴스1 ⓒ News1 김영운 기자(서울=뉴스1) 신병남 기자 = 은행에서 주택담보대출을 받고 이자를 갚지 못하는 20대 비중이 역대 최고 수준을 기록한 것으로 나타났다. 7일 금융감독원이 국회 기획재정위원회 소속 양경숙 더불어민주당 의원에게 제출한 19개 은행 '연령별 주택담보대출 연체율 현황'에 따르면 따르면 올해 2분기 말 기준 20대 이하의 연체율은 0.44%로 집계됐다.신용정보보호법상 차주의 개인신용정보가 삭제되기 전인 지난 2018년 3분기 이후 5년 만에 가장 높은 수치로, 사실상 역대 최고치에 해당한다.20대 이하의 주담대 연체율은 2018년 3분기부터 2022년 1분기까지 0.20%를 밑돌았다. 그러다 지난해 2분기 0.21%를 기록한 이후 △3분기 0.24% △4분기 0.33% △2023년 1분기 0.43% 등으로 급증하는 추세다.20대 이하의 주담대 잔액도 급증하고 있다. 올해 2분기 말 현재 34조2500억원으로 지난 2018년 9월 말(13조4700억원) 대비 2.54배에 달한다.다른 연령대의 2분기 말 기준 연체율을 보면 30대 0.17%, 40대 0.21%, 50대 0.20%, 60세 이상 0.21%로 각각 집계됐다. 30대의 경우도 2019년 3분기 말(0.17%) 이후 가장 높았고 40대는 2019년 4분기 말(0.21%) 이래 최고치였다. 50대와 60대는 각 2020년 2분기 말(0.20%)과 같은 해 1분기 말(0.22%) 이후 가장 높았다.특히 20대 이하 연령층을 가운데 만 19세 이하의 주담대 연체율은 2분기 말 기준 20.0%에 달했다. 만 19세~30세 청년 가운데 무소득자도 대출을 받을 수 있도록 설계된 주택금융공사의 보증부 청년 전·월세 대출 정책상품 영향이 큰 것으로 풀이된다고 양 의원실은 설명했다.양 의원은 "고금리 기조가 지속되는 가운데, 소득기반 등이 취약한 30대 이하의 연체율이 추가적으로 상승할 가능성이 높다"며 "청년층의 과도한 빚은 소비위축과 함께 금융은 물론 경제 전반의 위험 요소가 될 수 있는 만큼 청년 대출을 관리할 수 있는 대책을 마련해야 한다"고 말했다.
