사진=이미지투데이 지난 2분기 카드사에 대한 소비자 민원이 직전 분기와 비교해 52% 가량 늘었다.9일 여신금융협회가 공시한 '신용카드사 민원' 자료에 따르면 신한·삼성·KB·현대·롯데·우리·하나카드 등 국내 7개 전업카드사의 2분기 민원은 총 2368건으로 직전 분기(1562건) 대비 51.6%(806건) 증가했다. 지난 1분기엔 지난해 4분기와 비교해 민원이 16.5 % 줄었지만 한 분기 만에 다시 증가세로 전환됐다.회원 10만명당 민원 환산건수는 신한카드가 6.22건으로 가장 많았다. 이어 ▲롯데카드 1.82건 ▲현대카드 1.67건 ▲하나카드 1.40건 ▲삼성카드 1.25건 ▲KB국민카드 0.98건 ▲우리카드 0.73건 등으로 나타났다.항목별로 보면 '기타' 항목을 제외하고 '제도정책'(568건)과 '영업'(244건)이 전체 민원건수의 대다수를 차지했다. '채권', '고객상담' 관련 민원은 179건, 158건으로 각각 집계됐다.

표=여신금융협회 지난 2분기 소비자 민원이 급증한 건 카드 혜택 축소에 따른 것으로 풀이된다. 카드업계는 업황 악화를 이유로 알짜 혜택을 담은 신용·체크카드를 정리하고 혜택을 줄이고 있다. 여신금융협회에 따르면 지난 상반기에 단종한 카드는 159개로 116개였던 지난해 연간 단종 카드 수를 이미 넘어섰다.하반기에도 이같은 추세는 이어질 전망이다. 이달 31일을 끝으로 우리카드는 '뉴아이앤유카드(NU I&U)와 '카드의정석 마일리지 스카이패스' 등 4종을 단종하며 다음달 15일엔 'NU 오하 체크' 등 4종의 카드를 추가로 없앤다.'뉴아이앤유카드(NU I&U)'는 전월 실적에 관계 없이 국내 모든 가맹점에서 0.7% 무제한 청구 할인을 제공하며 '카드의정석 마일리지 스카이패스'는 국내외 가맹점에서 1000원당 1마일이 무제한으로 적립되는 혜택으로 인기를 끌은 바 있다..
