(사진=연합뉴스)[이데일리 최정희 기자] 올해 증가한 취업자의 95% 가량은 여성인 것으로 조사됐다. 특히 7월에는 남성 취업자 수가 2년 반 만에 감소세로 전환하면서 여성 취업자 증가폭이 전체를 초과했다. 보건서비스 등 여성 친화 일자리에 대한 수요가 높은 반면 집중호우 등에 건설·제조 등의 일자리 수요는 감소한 영향이다. 산업 구조와 소비 패턴 변화 등을 고려할 때 여성 중심의 고용시장 회복세가 계속될 것이라는 전망이 나온다.

출처: 통계청◇ 60세 이상·30대 이상이 이끄는 고용시장9일 통계청이 발표한 ‘7월 고용동향’에 따르면 지난 달 취업자 수는 2868만6000명으로 전년동월비 21만1000명 증가했다. 취업자 수는 2021년 3월부터 29개월째 증가하고 있지만 넉 달 째 둔화되며 2021년 2월(47만3000명 감소) 이후 29개월 만에 가장 적게 늘어났다.주로 여성과 고령층이 고용 회복세를 이끌고 있다. 올 들어 7월까지 취업자 수는 244만1000명이 증가했는데 여성 취업자 수는 230만9000명이 늘어나 전체의 95%를 차지했다. 7월만 보더라도 여성은 취업자 수가 24만6000명 증가해 전체 증가폭(21만1000명)을 초과했다. 남성 취업자 수는 외려 3만5000명 감소, 2021년 2월(18만6000명 감소) 이후 2년 반 만에 감소세로 전환됐다. 연령별로 보면 60세 이상 취업자가 29만8000명 증가해 전체 취업자 수를 뛰어넘었다. 이를 조합하면 고용시장을 이끄는 주역은 60세 이상 여성이다. 7월 60세 이상 여성 취업자 수는 18만5000명 증가해 전체 여성 취업자 수 증가폭(24만6000명)의 75%를 차지했다.
